Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some common questions we get about our Kids’ Time program. If you don't find the answer you're looking for, please feel free to contact our office at 815-489-1194.

Kids’ Time Before School program begins at 6:45AM and will end once school begins. Kids’ Time After School program is held from the time school ends until 5:30PM.

If you will be late picking up your child and need to get in contact with our Kids’ Time staff please contact the Youth Achievement office at 8154891194. If your child has not been picked up by 5:30pm: YMCA staff will attempt to contact all the contacts on the child’s health form. You will be expected to pay $1 per minute for the time the child remains in Kids’ Time after 5:35pm, given a 5-minute grace period. The fee will be added to the next bill. In instances where an authorized pickup is unable to be reached, the local police or children’s service agency will be called.

A change form must be completed to add additional pick ups. For the safety and security of our participants only the person who signed the enrollment form will be allowed to make changes.

A change form must be completed by Wednesday in order to not be charged for the following week. Forms are available at the Achievement Center, Youth Achievement office or online at www.rockriverymca.org.

Fees for our Kids’ Time program are drafted every Friday for the following week. You may choose to have your weekly payments deducted from a checking, savings account or credit\debit card.

Kids’ Time is a full school year service that is split up over weekly payments.

All YMCA’s are required to receive in writing parental authorization to dispense prescribed and “over-the-counter” medicine to campers. An Authorization to Administer Medication form must be filled out prior to medicine being dispensed to children.
