SwedishAmerican Riverfront YMCA to Reopen 11/3

The SwedishAmerican Riverfront YMCA had a pipe burst Saturday night in the women's locker room. The facility will reopen on November 3. The water damage impacted much of the first and second floors where the locker rooms, Kids' Care, OrthoIllinois and Subway restaurant are located. We brought in a professional crew to clean-up the facility and assess damage. We will reopen the branch on Wednesday, November 3rd with the below changes in operations. Our elevator is currently out of order - please note the changes for individuals needing an accessible entrance.

Services Available Wednesday
Cardio/Strength Center
Activity Center & Track
Group Exercise & Aqua Fitness

Kids' Care
Kids' Care will open on Wednesday in a temporary space. Check-in will be in the Tween Scene space. Directional signs are posted in the lobby.

Locker Rooms - Suggested for Swimmers Only
The women's locker room is not available. Women and girls can use the former girl's locker room on the 2nd floor. Men can use the daily use locker space in the men's locker room. Everyone else may use the For All locker room on the 2nd floor. Reminder - there is a new on-deck shower available for quick rinses before and after swimming. If you have a rental locker in the men's or women's locker rooms, then please visit the front desk to get your belongings. We had to remove items in the clean-up process.

Accessible Entrance
The elevator suffered severe water damage and is currently not available. We hope to have it back up and running by the end of the week. If you need access to the pool or anything on the 2nd floor, please park your car in the Judson parking lot along 251 on the East side of the building. Use the red pool doors to enter the building. This entrance will give you 2nd floor access to the pool, locker room and cardio area.
Swim Lessons & Stingrays Practice
Starting Wednesday, lessons will return to SAY per normal schedule. Stingrays - look for further communication from Coach Dan.

Subway Restaurant and OrthoIllinois remain closed until further notice.
