June 15 RMC Program
Log Lodge, 1pm
In terms of medical care, most larger cities in the United States are well staffed with family physicians, specialists, therapists, rehab centers, hospitals, medical clinics, nursing homes, and pharmacies. That frequently is not true for rural America. Heidi Olson, director of Rural Health Issues at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, will share with us the challenges for rural medicine and what is being done to provide a network to rectify the problem.
Meetings are for Retired Men's Club members, but guests are always welcome to join. If you'd like additional information, please contact Kim Lape at email@example.com or 815-489-1254.
