The Roger Reno Mobile Community Center is designed to engage youth and adolescents in our community right in their neighborhoods. By offering programming that is specifically designed to teach our youth core values that make strong adults, we will make positive changes that will build a stronger, more resilient community. The Mobile Community Center strives to provide youth with the skills to lead physically and social emotional healthy lifestyles.
The Mobile Community Center programs have three key priorities:
- Physical Activity – The focus for Physical Activity is to get the participants moving. Active games and sports relays will be utilized to make sure participants get their required daily exercise.
- Nutritional Education – The focus of Nutrition is to have the participants engage in activities that teach them proper nutrition. Through these activities participants will gain the knowledge necessary to build a healthy lifestyle.
- Character Development – The focus for the Character Development priority is Team Building. Through team building participants will learn how to work together to accomplish a common goal by communicating effectively with one another.
