Make Your Voice Matter
We are looking for passionate and engaged volunteers from diverse segments of the community and YMCA membership base to join our branch advisory councils. These individuals serve as an advisory body to the branch director and as a means to accomplish the overall objectives of the branch.
Branch Advisory Councils are charged by the board of directors to:
- Guide operations, monitory financial performance, and lead branch fundraising activities
- Promote branch membership and monitor program participation and quality to achieve Association goals
- Provide input regarding branch needs and make recommendations to the Association board that relate to their respective branch
- Advise the branch staff in matters pertaining to the management of the branch operation and monitor implementation of board policies at the branch
