The YMCA expands childcare services to serve more children in our community.
As we move into phase 3 of the Governor's Restore Illinois Plan on June 1, people are beginning to head back to work and the need for childcare increases. This phase allows us to serve children outside of the essential worker category. We do still have limited capacity, but we are creating wait lists to ensure we can add in children as space opens up.
We are offering childcare Monday through Friday at the following sites:
• YMCA Children's Learning Center: Infant-5 years
- $154-$255/week. Can offer daily rates.
- Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Must register in person at 2918 Glenwood Ave. or call 815-977-4576.
• SwedishAmerican Riverfront YMCA: 5-12 years
- $30/daily for members, $35/daily for non-members.
- Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Can register over the phone at 815-489-1252.
• YMCA Camp Winnebago: 5-12 years
- $150/week
- Hours: 6:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

We are screening everyone who enters our facility (staff and students) with a questionnaire and taking temperatures.
