Kids' Time Before & After School

As the largest provider of before and after school programs in Winnebago County, the YMCA of Rock River Valley provides family-centered, value-based programs to nurture children's healthy development. At the YMCA’s Kids' Time Before & After School program, children participate in fun and educational activities that help them achieve their goals, make new friends, and belong. Frequently Asked Questions

Kids’ Time Before School program begins at 6:45AM and will end once school begins. Kids’ Time After School program is held from the time school ends until 5:30PM. 

If you will be late picking up your child and need to get in contact with our Kids’ Time staff please contact the Youth Development headquarters at Camp Winnebago at 815-489-3374. If your child has not been picked up by 5:30pm: YMCA staff will attempt to contact all the contacts on the child’s health form. You will be expected to pay $1 per minute for the time the child remains in Kids’ Time after 5:35pm, given a 5-minute grace period. The fee will be added to the next bill. In instances where an authorized pickup is unable to be reached, the local police or children’s service agency will be called.

A change form must be completed to add additional pick ups. For the safety and security of our participants only the person who signed the enrollment form will be allowed to make changes. 

A change form must be completed by Wednesday in order to not be charged for the following week. Forms are available at the Youth Development headquarters at Camp Winnebago or online at www.rockriverymca.org. 

All YMCA’s are required to receive in writing parental authorization to dispense prescribed and “over-the-counter” medicine to campers. An Authorization to Administer Medication form must be filled out prior to medicine being dispensed to children.
