Kids' Time Before & After School

As the largest provider of before and after school programs in Winnebago County, the YMCA of Rock River Valley provides family-centered, value-based programs to nurture children's healthy development. At the YMCA’s Kids' Time Before & After School program, children participate in fun and educational activities that help them achieve their goals, make new friends, and belong. Safety is our top priority for our students and staff. You can add adults to your child’s pick up list by accessing your child’s ePact profile and updating their Health Profile.  Click Here for ePact

Kids’ Time Before School program begins at 6:45AM and will end once school begins. Kids’ Time After School program is held from the time school ends until 5:30PM. 

If you will be late picking up your child and need to get in contact with the Kids’ Time staff at your site. Click the button below for the list of site phone numbers.

If your child has not been picked up by 5:30pm: YMCA staff will attempt to call all the contacts on the child’s health form. You will be expected to pay $1 per minute for the time the child remains in Kids’ Time after 5:35pm, given a 5-minute grace period. The fee will be added to the next bill. In instances where an authorized pickup is unable to be reached, the local police or children’s service agency will be called. Site Phone List

Schedule changes must be made at least 10 days prior to the week that the child's schedule changes in order for charges not to occur. Click below to access the form. Change Request Form

All YMCA’s are required to receive in writing parental authorization to dispense prescribed and “over-the-counter” medicine to students. An Authorization to Administer Medication form must be filled out prior to medicine being dispensed to children. This form is located at each after school site, or you download and print a copy at the below link.

All forms must be submitted to the YMCA Kids' Time Site Coordinator at your school.

Winter brings a lot of potential for early school closures or snow days. In most cases, Kids' Time will remain open when school dismisses early. Also, the Y will offer Emergency Camp Days when school is canceled for students already enrolled in Kids' Time. Please click below for further details. Inclement Weather Policy
