Child Care Financial Assistance

At the YMCA we make access to safe and reliable childcare our priority.  We believe that no one should be denied access to YMCA childcare programs based on the ability to pay. The YMCA of Rock River Valley offers a variety of child care financial aid options to suit your family. Every child in each of our programs receives the same quality of care, regardless of whether or not their family receives financial assistance or scholarship.

IDHS CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CCAP)

The YMCA of Rock River Valley accepts the IDHS Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) for various youth development programs. CCAP is a state funded cost share program that provides low-income, working families with access to quality, affordable child care. All applicants for CCAP must: live in Illinois, be employed and/or going to an eligible educational activity, have children younger than 13, and have a household income below allowable limits.

We are happy to help you navigate the financial assistance process for the Kids' Time Before & After School program, the Children's Learning Center, and YMCA Camp Winnebago programs. Please complete our Financial Assistance Request form, and we will contact you with more information and next steps.
