Rowing (sometimes called crew) is a water sport in which a group of rowers (also called a crew) seated in a boat move their oars together in unison to complete the common goal of movement. There are two different kinds of rowing: sweep rowing, where each rower has one oar in both hands, and sculling, where each rower has two oars, one in each hand.
