Motivation, Accountability and Determination

At the YMCA, we know that not every person is motivated by the same things. Having a supportive group of like-minded friends helps you achieve goals you never thought possible. And you can find them here! Our health initiatives programs and workshops are held throughout the year. They focus on different areas of health needs, multiple types of workouts, and nutrition. You’re not in this alone! Find your motivation at the Y!

Nutrition Counseling

Schedule a session with our registered dietician to get personalized guidance to help you make dietary choices that align with your health goals and medical needs. We will focus on factors like nutrient intake, portion control and meal planning. The initial consultation is one hour. Follow-up 30-minute visits can be scheduled as needed.

Wellness360

Discover a healthier, more balanced you with Wellness360! This 8-week comprehensive healthy living program is designed to support your physical, mental, and emotional well-being through functional strength training & nutritional education.

Participants will meet twice per week in a small group with a Certified Personal Trainer for energizing and effective workouts tailored to your individual fitness level, while also diving into the vast world of nutrition, and finding what works best for you and your life! Each Session will consist of a 45-minute workout, and a 15-minute open q&a on various nutritional topics.

Included:

– Prep Meeting will include guidelines, workout and meeting schedules, etc.

– 2 InBody Assessments (body composition analysis)

Total Body Tune-Up

Total Body Tune-Up is a small group training experience designed to build strength, improve mobility, and support confidence in everyday movements. This 4-week program is perfect for adults of all fitness levels, including those returning to exercise or seeking a supportive, accessible environment.

With options for both seated and standing exercises, participants will move through full-body lifts focused on balance, core strength.

What to Expect:

– Expert guidance from a certified trainer

– Small group format (max 6 participants)

– A focus on strength, flexibility, and functional fitness

– Encouragement, connection, and fun!

SMART Coaching and Support

The YMCA SMART Coaching Program is designed to give members the guidance they need right when they need it. Whether you’re learning how to use equipment for the first time, refining your form, or looking to build strength and endurance safely, our knowledgeable coaches are here to support you every step of the way.

SMART Coaching empowers you to set goals, understand your body, and create healthy habits that last. Perfect for beginners and seasoned members alike, this program ensures you always have access to the tools, technique, and encouragement needed to feel strong, capable, and confident in your fitness journey.

JOYNT Program

Our JOYNT program offers a combination of exercise, diet, and social support to help guide members on their weight loss and joint replacement journey. This program is by doctor referral only.

Throughout the year, we offer a variety of health initiatives and workshops designed to help you build healthier habits, gain confidence, and stay motivated. Some programs run seasonally or for limited sessions, so availability may vary.

3 Weeks to Wellness – A focused reset to help you build sustainable, healthier daily routines.

Eat Well, Be Well: A 6-Week Whole Foods Challenge – Learn how to fuel your body with whole foods through education, accountability, and weekly guidance.

Lifestyle & Health Coaching – One-on-one support tailored to your unique goals, helping you create lasting change that fits your life.

Nutrition Workshops – Engaging, practical sessions that empower you to make informed choices about food, meal planning, and overall nutrition.
