Summer Pool Party at Sand Park Pool

April 15, 2025|

Join us on June 7 from 1-3pm as we kick off the summer season at Sand Park Pool with a pool party in collaboration with the Rockford Park District.
We will have a DJ, gaga ball, face painting, and a variety of water games/lessons in and out of the pool.
Macy the Lion will also make a special appearance (weather permitting).
FREE for Y members! Just scan in using your YMCA keytag or app barcode.

Once a month we are dedicated to hosting a pool party at one of our pools, with a specialized theme for each month! Join us for a Summer Solstice Splash on June 20 from 2-4pm at our Northeast Family Y.

AOA May Potluck

April 7, 2025|

Join us at the Northeast Family YMCA on Wednesday, May 7th from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM for a Cinco de Mayo potluck lunch.

Please bring a dish to share with the group and your own drink. The Y will provide coffee and table service.

Rockford Mass Transit District at SAY

Stop by our SwedishAmerican Riverfront YMCA lobby to learn more how to get a FREE bus pass from the Rockford Mass Transit District.

Join us on Wednesday, April 9 from 9-11am or Wednesday, April 23 from 4:30-6:30pm.

No registration required.

 

Students in grades K-12 can ride for free, as well as individuals pursuing post-secondary education in Rockford. This includes those enrolled in GED programs, two-year colleges, or four-year universities. High school and college students must present a school ID to the bus driver. If a student does not have a school ID, they can get a RMTD Student ID for just $2.
